CITY OF BLAINE ORDINANCE N0.536 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 52.04, OF CHAPTER 52, SEWER USAGE RATES, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BLAINE THE CITY OF BLAINE.. DOES ORDAIN: Section 52.04 of the Blaine City Code is amended 10 read: (Added portions are bold lace and deleted portions are Shown in parentheses.) 52.04 The quarterly sewer service charges for single and two family dwelling units, which are Occupied only by person& who meet any of the following requirements, shall be entitled to reduced 'sewer service charges of one -half of the quarterly charge established by Section 52.01: (A) Persons 'oho are 62 years of age or older, or who are members 01 a household in which one of the spouses is 62 years of age or older, and neither is gainfully employed; (B) Persons who are 62 years oI age or older. or who are members of a household in which one of the spouses is 62 years of age or older, and neither is • gainfully employed, who occupy the unit with not more than two other persons, who are also 62 years of age or older, or who occupy the unit with one person under 62 years of age, who is not gainfully employed; (C) Persons who are 62 years of age or older, or ' who are members of a household In which one of the spouses is 62 years of age or older, and neither is gainfully employed, who occupy the unit with more than two other persons, one of whom is 62 years of age or older and head of the household, with a maximum household income of less than 55,000.00 per year and a maximum net worth less than 150,000.00. (The quarterly sewer service charges for single and two family dwelling units which are occupied by persons over 62 years of age and a maximum • household incorne of less Than 55,000.00 per year. and a maximum net worth of less than 550.000.00, shall be 9a of the quarterly charge established by Section 52.01.) Such reduced quarterly charge shall be effective in the first billing quarter Thal commences following receipt of the appropriate City application forms (furnished by the City), completed by the Individual persons over 62 years 01 age (which have been approved by the City Manager). Such reduced quarterly charge shall become effective in the first billing quarter alter there has been a change in the above conditions.
