DRAFT 3- 5 -82_- <br />CONTRACT TO FURNISH FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of <br />, 1982, by and between the City of Little Canada <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "City "), and Little Canada Fire <br />Department, Inc., a Minnesota non- profit corporation (hereinafter <br />referred to as "Fire Department "). <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Department is located in the City of Little <br />Canada, Minnesota, and maintains a fully equipped volunteer fire <br />department which includes necessary personnel, trucks, and fire <br />fighting equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, said fire protection is believed to be in the best <br />interests of the people residing in the City of Little Canada; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Department has agreed to provide fire protec- <br />tion services to the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Department needs and requires payment to <br />cover its estimated cost of operation, depreciation, and damages to <br />its equipment resulting from fire fighting and fire protection in <br />the said City of Little Canada. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the representations, war- <br />ranties and agreements herein contained, and the considerations <br />hereinafter set forth, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />ARTICLE 1 <br />SERVICES PROVIDED <br />1.1) Fire Department agrees to answer all calls for fire pro- <br />tection by sending out fire fighting equipment and personnel as <br />4? <br />
