Page 3 <br />SCHEDULE FOR REVIEWING FISCAL YEAR 1983 LAWCON /LCMR GRANTS <br />For your information, we have prepared a schedule for the submittal and review <br />of your preliminary grant application by the Metropolitan Council staff, the <br />Metropolitan Parks and Open Space Commission ( MPOSC), the Metropolitan Council <br />and the Minnesota Department of Energy, Planning and Development staff (DEPD). <br />Date Task <br />April 30 Deadline for submitting preliminary grant applications. <br />No revisions to community housing points accepted after <br />this date by Metro Council. <br />May 10 -14 <br />May 17 -21 <br />May 25-28 <br />Site visits of applications by Metro Council and <br />DEPD staff. <br />Metro Council staff scores applications and sends score <br />sheets to applicants. <br />Applicants respond to score sheets and meet with Metro <br />Council staff. No changes to scores will be made after <br />this period. <br />June 1 -11 Metro Council and DEPD staff rank applications. Staff <br />rankings mailed to applicants and MPOSC. <br />Suggest <br />June 21 <br />MPOSC holds public meeting on staff ranking recommendations. <br />You will receive a letter verifying the date, time and <br />place of the meeting. <br />July 6 MPOSC considers public input and acts on staff ranking <br />recommendations. <br />(Note: Monday, <br />JuTy 5, is a <br />holiday.) <br />July 15 Physical Development Committee takes action on MPOSC <br />recommendations. <br />July 22 Metropolitan Council takes action on PDC recommendations. <br />6 '7 <br />
