January 31, 1981 <br />Councilwoman Beverly Scalze <br />Parks and Recreation Liaison <br />City of Little Canada. <br />Dear Mrs. Scalze <br />The Little Canada Canadian Days Committee regrets any <br />misunderstandings created by our letter to the City Council <br />regarding the possibility of offering sports activties or games <br />during our Canadian Days Celebration. <br />The letter was addressed to the City Council because you are <br />ultimately responsible for the work load expected of the <br />Recreation Dept., thusly any additions to theirduties should <br />be introduced through you. <br />The Committee was not referring to the Recreation Assn. but <br />only to the cities Recreation Dept.. <br />Our inquiry was pointed toward the possibility of having the <br />Recreation Dept. arrange some types of activities for children, <br />such as penny scrambles, sack or other types of races for different <br />groups of youngsters- perhaps a horseshoe tournament for adults - <br />these types of activities to offer to varied age groups during <br />Canadian Days. <br />We would appreciate your consideration of this request of the <br />Recreation Department's time and energies. <br />Sincerely, <br />Little Canada Canadian Days Committee <br />WL LL z c) ,yLc e c <br />Kathleen Hanson <br />Secretary <br />.8n <br />
