For District Use: <br />Ramsey - Washington Metro Watershed District <br />PERMIT <br />Permission is granted to do the work proposed in application number 82.- 2 (attached) <br />in accordance with the Rules and Regulations and Overall Plan of the District; subject to the <br />following special provisions: <br />1. Construction shall be in accordance with the plans submitted to the District as of <br />January 1, 1982. <br />2. Grading operations shall be accomplished in a manner which minimizes potential for erosion <br />and sedimentation using dikes, check dams or temporary ponding areas consisting of <br />anchored hay bales backed by a snow fence or approved material. Before grading operations <br />commence, the erosion and sediment control facilities must be constructed. The District's <br />Engineer must be notified upon completion of construction of these erosion and sediment <br />control facilities for his inspection. Grading operations may commence after the Engineer <br />approves these facilities. <br />3. Permittees shall maintain erosion and sediment. facilities until restoration is completed and <br />established. Restoration of disturbed areas shall be completed as soon as possible. Where <br />on -going construction makes immediate restoration impossible, anchored hay bales or other <br />approved erosion control facilities shall be used to minimize sediment from leaving the <br />construction area. <br />4. Waste material shall not be deposited in any wetland or pothole within the District without <br />written approval to do so being first obtained from the District. This permit does not grant <br />authority for such disposal. <br />5. Plans or schedules for erosion control which may be submitted by the contractor to the <br />project engineer shall be brought to the District's attention. <br />The Board reserves the right to review and revise these special provisions <br />as circumstances may require.
