METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br />Suite 300 Metro Square Building, Saint Paul, Minnesota•.55101 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81- 249 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING COUNCIL FINDINGS FOR REVIEW OF THE <br />CITY OF SHOREVIEW COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council is authorized, pursuant to Minnesota tatutes <br />Section 473.145, to prepare and adopt a comprehensive development <br />guide for the Metropolitan Area and the Council has adopted such a <br />development guide; and .- <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council is authorized, pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes, Section 473.175 and 473.851 through 473.866, the <br />Metropolitan Land Planning Act, to review the comprehensive plans of <br />local govenmental units to determine their compatibility with each <br />other, conformity with metropolitan system plans, and apparent <br />consistency with the adopted chapters of the Metropolitan Development <br />Guide; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Shoreview has submitted its comprehensive plan to the <br />Metropolitan Council for review pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, <br />Section 473.175; and <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has studied and reviewed the Shoreview <br />Comprehensive Plan and has determined whether the.Plan is in <br />conformity with the metropolitan system plans,-compatible with local <br />comprehensive plans and school capital improvement programs, and <br />apparently consistent with other adopted chapters of the Metropolitan <br />Development Guide. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />THAT the Metropolitan Council adopt the attached Shoreview Comprehensive <br />Plan review report, Referral Report No. 81 -234, and the recommendations <br />found on page 13 of the report as its review of the Shoreview Comprehensive <br />Plan pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 473.175. <br />Adopted this 17th day of December <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br />By <br />Charles R.
