Approval <br />Of The <br />Minutes <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />December 1, 1983 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 1st day of December, 1983 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />The following members of the Planning Commission were present: <br />Peter Costa <br />Eugene DeLonais <br />Myers Frattalone <br />Roy French <br />Sharon Timmons <br />Joe Vitale <br />Those members absent were: <br />Thomas Ducharme <br />Karolyn Kingsbury <br />Jim Steele <br />Also present were: <br />Steve Crittman, City Planner <br />Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />Mr. Costa recommended that the minutes of the November 3rd meeting <br />be approved as read. <br />Manufactured Mr. DeLonais asked the minimum square footage for a one —story <br />Housing home in an R -1 district. Mr. Crittrnan replied that it was 1,040 <br />square feet. DeLonais pointed out that this was the minimum for <br />a manufactured horse in an R -1 district. <br />Mr. Costa asked Mr. Scalze for the Council's feeling on this issue. <br />Mrs. Scalze replied that the council felt an ordinance should be on <br />the hooks since the Attorney Ceneral has said that manufactured homes <br />are allowed in an R -1 district. Mrs. Scalze reported that the City <br />of Maplewood has adopted such an ordinance. <br />Mr. DeJ.,onais reported that the City Planner asked the Commission to <br />drag its feet on the ordinance until there were some test cases. <br />Mrs. Timmons commented that the council has been requesting that <br />the Planning Commission act on this. <br />Mrs. Scalze replied that the Council would like the Planning Commission's <br />opinion in this issue.. The City Attorney does not feel the City <br />should have a moratorium forever on manufactured horses in R -1.. <br />Pare — <br />
