Approval Of The Minutes MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA December 1, 1983 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of December, 1983 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. The following members of the Planning Commission were present: Peter Costa Eugene DeLonais Myers Frattalone Roy French Sharon Timmons Joe Vitale Those members absent were: Thomas Ducharme Karolyn Kingsbury Jim Steele Also present were: Steve Crittman, City Planner Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary Mr. Costa recommended that the minutes of the November 3rd meeting be approved as read. Manufactured Mr. DeLonais asked the minimum square footage for a one —story Housing home in an R -1 district. Mr. Crittrnan replied that it was 1,040 square feet. DeLonais pointed out that this was the minimum for a manufactured horse in an R -1 district. Mr. Costa asked Mr. Scalze for the Council's feeling on this issue. Mrs. Scalze replied that the council felt an ordinance should be on the hooks since the Attorney Ceneral has said that manufactured homes are allowed in an R -1 district. Mrs. Scalze reported that the City of Maplewood has adopted such an ordinance. Mr. DeJ.,onais reported that the City Planner asked the Commission to drag its feet on the ordinance until there were some test cases. Mrs. Timmons commented that the council has been requesting that the Planning Commission act on this. Mrs. Scalze replied that the Council would like the Planning Commission's opinion in this issue.. The City Attorney does not feel the City should have a moratorium forever on manufactured horses in R -1.. Pare —
