NORTHWEST ASSOCIATED CONSULTANTS INC.
MEMORANDUM
TO: Little Canada Planning Commission
FROM: David Licht
DATE: 10 November 1983
RE: Little Canada Zoning Ordinance Revision -
Manufactured Housing
FILE NO: 758.09 - 83.18
Upon discussing the status of the City's position on the manufactured housing
amendment with the City Attorney, I was advised that he feels it beneficial
to have an ordinance "on the books" rather than continue with a moritorium
situation. As a consequence of this opinion, I believe it advisable to
pursue review of materials which you have been provided with in the past and
attempt to make a recommendation on a "preferred" ordinance to the City
Council.
We would refer you to information on manufactured housing which has been
previously provided to you. We have, however, attached a draft ordinance taken
from an example provided by the City of Blaine. Mr. Sweeney was involved in
the enactment of the Blaine ordinance and as a result, I assume the extent
of coverage generally meets with his approval.
This matter will be on your agenda on 1 December. Please contact me in
advance of the meeting should you have any questions.
cc: Joseph Chlebeck
Tom Sweeney
Ed Locke
25
4820 minnetonka boulevard, suite 420 minneapolis, mn 55416 612/925 -9420
