3 <br />3 <br />IINUTES <br />Planning commission <br />Oct. 6, 1983 <br />Schrier ,j <br />Property <br />Wright Setback <br />Variance <br />rrattalone <br />Property <br />Division <br />Mrs. Timmons pointed out that the Planning Commission does not have <br />a Planner's report on this property. <br />Mr. Costa felt that Mr. Lien's proposal was the only type of <br />development that fit the property. Mrs. Timmons did not feel <br />the property was suitable for single family. <br />Mr. Lien reported that he was requesting a conditional use permit <br />to construct townhouses and a variance for 8 units. <br />Mrs. Timmons recommended that the Conditional Use Permit for townhouses <br />in an R -2 district be approved and also that the variance allowing <br />8 units as opposed to the 7.4 units allowed be approved on the <br />basis that the property is not suitable for any other type of <br />development. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Steele. <br />motion carried 8 - 0. <br />Mr. Ducharme recommended that the Wright setback variance request <br />be tabled as there was no one present and the Planning Commission <br />has no information on the request. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Costa. <br />Motion carried 8 - 0. <br />Mr. !oh DeBace appeared before the Commission on the Frattalone <br />property division. Mr. DeBace reported that Mr. Frattalone would <br />like to divide his property on Country Drive into two lots one of <br />which he will be purchasing. <br />'4r. DeBace reported that each lot will he about 32,000 square feet <br />in size. <br />^'r. Deflate reported that this is a simple subdivision. <br />'ir. Deflate reported that he Is proposing to build a building on one <br />of the lots similar to his building located across the street. <br />PeRnce reported that the property has had soils and he will he <br />extending the footings to provide for this. "Ir. DeBace reported <br />that he will he removing the had soils and filling the property <br />and will then let it settle over the winter before he builds. <br />
