ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 911.040 <br />OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 <br />Section 911.040 C of the Zoning Code of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />Little Canada is hereby amended by adding the following provision: <br />"911.040.C.19 - A protective canopy located over the pump island may be <br />allowed as an accessory structure on the property and may be located twenty <br />feet or more from the front yard or side yard property line, provided that <br />adequate visibility both on and off site is maintained." <br />Section 2 <br />Section 912.040 of the Zoning Code of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby amended by adding the following: <br />"912.040.B - Convenience Gas (No Vehicle Service or Repair), Grocery, and /or <br />Food Operations, provided that: <br />1. The sale of retail goods involves uses or activities which are allowed <br />in a B -1, B -2 or B -3 District. <br />2. Convenience /deli food is of the take -out type only and that no provision <br />for seating or consumption on the premises is provided. Furthermore, that <br />the enclosed area devoted to such activity, use and merchandise shall not <br />exceed fifteen (15) percent of the gross floor area. <br />3. That any sale of food items is subject to the approval of the Ramsey County <br />Health Department who shall provide specific written sanitary requirements <br />on an individual basis for each proposed sale location. <br />4. That the nonautomotive sales shall qualify for and be granted an annual <br />food handling, retail sales license or other license, as circumstances <br />shall require, in addition to the permit for a conditional use under the <br />Zoning Code. <br />5. That the area and location including exterior, outside space devoted to <br />nonautomobile merchandise sales shall be specified and any expansion of <br />the space or change in location without an amendment to the permit shall <br />constitute grounds for revocation of the permit, after a hearing before the <br />City Council. <br />6. The hours of operation shall be limited to six (6) o'clock a.m. to twelve <br />(12) o'clock p.m., unless extended by the City Council. <br />7. Each light standard landscaped. <br />8. Parking or car magazine storage space shall be screened from view of <br />abutting residential districts in compliance with Section 903.020.G. <br />1 <br />
