MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 25, 2006 <br />*THIS APPLICATION IS ATYPICAL OF OTHER HOME <br />OCCUPATIONS PREVIOUSLY ALLOWED IN THE CITY. AT THE <br />SEPTEMBER COUNCIL MEETING, STAFF COULD ONLY <br />IFENTIFY ONE OTHER CASE WHERE NON-RESIDENT <br />EMPLOYEES WERE APPROVED. IN THAT CASE, THE <br />EMPLOYEE WAS A NEIGHBOR GIRL WHO WALKED TO THE <br />HOME OCCUPATION LOCATION. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) Allan, Blesener, Keis, LaValle. <br />Nays (1) Montour. Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener 'introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-70-255 -DENYING THE TEXT <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 2202 RELATIVE TO MASSAGE <br />THERAPY AS AN ACCESSORY USE BASED ON THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY PLANNER AND THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STEINERT Mayor Blesener noted that Kevin Steinert and Steve Benning, Rim Lake <br />CONCEPT Construction, have requested that their single-family home concept <br />PROPOSAL proposal be tabled aC this time. Benning will be reworking the concept <br />plan and submiC modifications at a future meeting. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-IO-256 -TABLING THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR REVIEW OF THE KEVIN STEINERT/RIM LAKE <br />CONSTR UCTION CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT PLAN UNTIL <br />FURTHER NOTICE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
