MEMORANDUM
TO:' Little Canada Mayor & City Council
FROM: David Licht
DATE: 27 September 1983
RE: LeMay Subdivision
FILE NO: 758.09 - 83.23
NORTHWEST ASSOCIATED CONSULTANTS
Incorporated
4820 Minnetonka Boulevard, Suite 420
Mpls., Mn. 55416 612/925-9420
As a follow-up to the City Council discussion and the layout alternatives
for the Lee LeMay property, our office has conducted an analysis of the options
which are available. The attached report summarizes our conclusions.
Should the City Council concur with our evaluation, the question of financing
for the benefit of one property owner is eliminated, at least in this case.
We believe, however, that this is an issue which will continue to surface. As
a consequence, we will provide you with a separate memo on this subject which
summarizes what other cities policies are plus an analysis of policy implications
of the present practice.
cc: Joseph Chlebeck
Don Carley
Tom Sweeney
Ed Locke
Lee LeMay
Brad Nielsen
Dennis Peck
3
