The Minnesota Deportment of
Energy, Planning & Development
May 2, 1983
Mr. Joseph Chlebeck
City Clerk- Treasurer
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minnesota 55117
Dear Mr. Chlebeck:
The Office of Local Government has completed its review of applications
for the 1983 Minnesota Small Cities Development Grant program. Because
we have a limited amount of grant funds available, we are not able to
offer you a grant this year.
Funds were sufficient to fund only the 9 housing single purpose applica-
tions scoring 192 points or higher out of a total of 31 housing
applications. Your application received a score of 177. In all, 21
single purpose applications were funded out of a total 124 received.
We expect to make additional grant awards from 1984 grant funds in the
spring of 1984. Information about application procedures and technical
assistance workshops will be available late this summer.
I hope you will consider reapplying next year. If you would like to
discuss your application and ways to improve it for next year's
competition, please feel free to call one of our community development
representatives at 612/296 -2102.
Sincerely,
Robert .
