NORTHWEST ASSOCIATED CONSULTANTS INC.
March 28, 1983
Mr. Joe Chlebeck
City Administrator
City Administrative Offices
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minnesota 55117
RE: Little Canada Shoreland Classifications
File No: 758.09
Dear Joe:
On 25 March I had a call from Dave Leuthe responding to an earlier phone
call from our office inquiring when we might expect information on the
reclassification of lakes in Little Canada. Mr. Leuthe said matters are
backed up in his office, but that he anticipated having a response to us
within the next week or so. He did state to me that the DNR at this point
was willing to go along with the General Development classification for all
lakes within the City with the exception of Twin Lake. He stated that
because of the existing development and lot sizes, Recreational Development
classification was being suggested. This is a reduction from the previously
suggested Natural Environment lake standards.
Within the next day or so, we will follow up on this with a further letter
and documentation. I, however, thought you would be interested in learning
of this communication in case being questioned by any members of the Council.
Sincerely yours,
NORTHWEST ASSOCIATED —CON
David R.
