ORDINANCE NO. <br />202 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 811, <br />GAME ROOMS, OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, <br />REGULATING AMUSEMENT CENTERS. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA, HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Chapter 811. of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />811. AMUSEMENT CENTERS. <br />811.010. DEFINITIONS. For the purposes of this Chapter, <br />certain terms and words are defined as follows: <br />(A) Amusement Center. Any room, place, or area, open <br />to the public, located within any building or <br />structure, including, but not limited to, a <br />bar, restaurant, lounge, supper club, or bowling <br />establishment, the purpose and use of which is <br />to provide amusement or entertainment through <br />the operation of four (4) or more amusement devices. <br />(B) Amusement Device. Any electronic or mechanical <br />machine or device, which operates or may be <br />operated by the public by inserting a coin, coins, <br />token, or tokens, therein, which is intended for <br />entertainment or amusement. This definition <br />includes, but is not limited to, such devices as <br />pinball machines, table shuffleboard games, table <br />hockey and soccer games, video games, motion <br />picture machines, and all other electronic and <br />mechanical machines and devices, which operate or <br />are operated for the entertainment or amusement <br />of the public. An "amusement device" is not a <br />"gambling device" as defined by Minnesota Statutes. <br />(c) Operate. To conduct, manage, supervise, maintain or <br />keep. <br />811.020. LICENSE REQUIRED.
