Schaber <br />District 6 <br />Mayor Michael Fahey <br />City of Little Canada <br />2923 Labore Road <br />Little Canada, Minnesota 55117 <br />Dear Maysir ahey: <br />On October 5 a request was made for names of two individuals from your organization to <br />serve on an Intergovernmental Committee (one representative) and a Technical Committee <br />(one representative) of the Ramsey County Regional Railroad Authority. I am writing <br />to again request that you consider appointing two individuals to serve on those <br />committees. <br />The committees will participate in review and recommendations on the comprehensive <br />light rail transit plan for Ramsey County. The intergovernmental committee will <br />consist of elected and appointed officials from municipalities within Ramsey County, <br />adjacent counties and government agencies. The technical committee will consist of <br />staff (engineers, city managers, planners) from municipalities within Ramsey County, <br />adjacent counties and agencies. <br />A consulting firm (Strgar- Roscoe - Fausch, Inc.) has been approved to begin work on the <br />plan and it is anticipated that committees will begin meeting soon. The technical <br />committee will meet during the workday and the intergovernmental committee will most <br />likely meet at 4 pm on Tuesdays. <br />Please inform me by letter of the name, title and address of the individual you would <br />like to nominate for each of the two committees.
