AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this day of <br />198_, by and between the City of Little Canada, a political <br />subdivision of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter called <br />"City ", and Independent School District No. 623, a public school <br />corporation under the laws of Minnesota, hereinafter called <br />"District." <br />WITNESSETH THAT, in the joint and separate exercise of <br />their powers and in consideration of the mutual covenants herein <br />contained, the parties hereto recite and agree as follows: <br />Section 1. Recitals. The District has approved the <br />expansion of the facilities at the Little Canada Elementary <br />School, which expansion would include a gymnasium, a stage, and <br />related facilities, for use by its students for curricular and <br />extra- curricular activities, and the City is considering the <br />construction of shower facilities and a locker room at its <br />expense as part of such expansion and the construction <br />of square feet of storage space, west of the stage, <br />for exclusive use by the City for the storage of gymnastic <br />equipment, which facilities would be used by all residents and <br />others in the community for recreational and civic purposes. <br />The gymnasium area, locker room and showers, and the exclusive <br />City storage space are hereinafter referred to as the "City <br />Addition ". <br />Minnesota Statutes, Sections 471.15 through 471.191, and <br />Section 471.59 authorize the City and the District jointly to <br />Page 60 <br />
