PAUL, MINNESOTA 55113 TEL, 812/483 -8701 Re: Little Canada Elementary School Addition BA #8695 Dear Mr. Chlebeck: The following is a memorandum of the 12/9/88 discussion that occurred at the City Hall: 1. Present were: Joe Chlebeck, Don Carley, Ewald Beise, William Sanders, John Palacio, Jim Morelan, Jim Matland and Roger Glanzer representing the City of Little Canada, John Thein of School District #621 and Randy L. Engel. 2. A preliminary Site Plan prepared by Buetow & Associates (dated 12/10/88) was presented for review and comment. Principle issues discussed were as follows: 2.1 Drainage from new and existing roofs, grounds and paving could be directed into new subsurface storm sewers with the drainage flow oriented toward the school's east property line. Drainage from the 6 existing stormwater drywells located along the Eli Street frontage also must be accommodated. The sewer's path could occur to the west and south of the new and existing buildings or to the north and east of the new and existing buildings. 2.2 Construction limits should be devised to distinguish between the anticipated work of the School's contractor (grading, landscaping and building construction) and the anticiapted work of the City's contractor (grading, landscaping, paving, walks and site drainage). 2.3 No additional off - street parking stalls will be constructed west of the new building's gymnasium. 2.4 Provision of a public sidewalk along the southside of Eli is not presently contemplated by the City of Little Canada. 2.5 The School Board must submit a petition for these intended improvements to the City of Little Canada.
