Minutes <br />Multi - <br />Rezoning <br />Proposal <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />October 13, 1988 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held <br />on the 13th day of October, 1988 in the Council Chambers of the <br />City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Peter Costa called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and <br />the following members of the Commission were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Peter Costa, Chairman <br />Bill Davison <br />Gene DeLonais <br />Art Herkenhoff <br />Peggy Schweizer <br />ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Kathy Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the September 8, 1988 <br />Commission meeting, the minutes will stand approved as read. <br />Costa opened the continuation of hearing on the multi - rezoning proposal <br />which was tabled at the Commission's last meeting. <br />DeLonais reported that Mr. Bob DeBace could not attend tonight's meeting, <br />however, wanted to go on record as opposing the rezoning of his property. <br />Costa noted the letter received from Vincent Metals also opposing the <br />rezoning. <br />Mr. Harry Kath appeared before the Commission and requested that his <br />property be rezoned to B -3 rather than the B -2 zoning proposed. <br />Lawrence Nadeau, property owner on Rice Street, requested that his <br />property be rezoned B -3 rather than I -P as proposed. <br />The Commission decided to review the proposed rezonings on an area basis <br />with individual action on the various areas. <br />The first property considered was the Harry Kath property. <br />DeLonais recommended that the Harry Kath property on Rice Street be <br />rezoned to B -3, rather than the B -2 zoning proposed by the City Planner, <br />since that property fronts on Rice Street, and is bordered by the railroad <br />as well as Woodlyn Avenue. <br />Motion seconded by Davison. <br />Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Page 1 <br />
