CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of October, 1988, by and <br />between the CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA, upon order by resolution of the <br />City Council, hereinafter referred to as the "CITY" and YAGGY COLBY <br />ASSOCIATES, hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT ". <br />WITNESSETH <br />I. Employment Clause: <br />It is agreed between the parties hereto that the City hereby retains and <br />employs the Consultant to perform professional services in connection <br />with the project as defined in Paragraph II, and the Consultant agrees <br />to perform said services, subject to the following terms and conditions, <br />to wit: <br />II. Project: <br />Professional Services shall be provided for the project described as a <br />land use evaluation study which will be used to assist the City if <br />evaluating the development potential of a portion of land adjacent to <br />I -35E north of Little Canada Road. <br />III. Basic Services of the Consultant: <br />A. The Consultant shall conduct an evaluation of the site to <br />determine the suitability of the site for development purposes. <br />B. After consideration of evaluation criteria, the Consultant shall <br />prepare a report addressing significant findings. <br />C. The Consultant will present the findings of the study and <br />recommendations in written form to the Mayor and City Council of <br />the City of Little Canada upon completion of the evaluation. <br />IV. Compensation and Payment: <br />The City shall compensate the Consultant for those services outlined in <br />Part III and performed by the Consultant as follows: <br />A. Hourly Rates <br />The schedule of hourly billing rates is attached. <br />B. Reimbursable Expenses <br />Reimbursable expenses include, but are not limited to, charges for <br />toll calls, printing and reproduction, travel expense, including <br />mileage at $0.28 cents per mile. <br />PAGE -13 <br />
