Section 6.0. Review. The city appoints the (zoning, <br />planning, building, engineer, District) to review the erosion and <br />sediment control plan. The (zoning, planning, building, <br />engineer:, District) shall review the erosion and sediment control <br />plan within () days of receiving the plan from the developer. <br />The city shall notify the developer of its decision after receipt <br />of comments from the appointed reviewer and no more than ( <br />after receiving the plan from the developer. <br />6.1. Permit required. If the appointed reviewer determines <br />that the erosion and sediment control plan meets the requirements <br />of this ordinance, the city shall issue a permit that authorizes <br />the land disturbance activity contingent upon the implementation <br />and completion of the erosion and sediment control plan. <br />6.2. Denial. If the appointed reviewer determines that the <br />erosion and sediment control plan does not meet the requirements <br />of this ordinance, the city shall not issue a permit for the land <br />disturbance activity. The erosion and sediment control plan must <br />be re- submitted for approval before the land disturbance activity <br />begins. All land use and building permits must be suspended <br />until the developer has an approved erosion and sediment control <br />dark?' <br />plan. <br />Section 7.0. Easement. The developer shall seek an <br />easement with the city for any permanent erosion and sediment <br />control practices that remain after the land disturbance activity <br />is completed. <br />7.1. Maintenance. The developer shall be responsible for <br />the maintenance of the permanent erosion and sediment control <br />Page 47 <br />
