All available safety equipment and standard procedures <br />should be followed to ensure the personnel involved work <br />in a safe environment. At no time will an employee enter <br />a sanitary sewer manhole or lift station wet well without <br />another City employee at the site. <br />K. On call scheduling may vary to accommodate vacation and <br />holidays. On call trading between employees must be <br />agreed upon by both employees and their supervisor five <br />(5) days prior to the affected trade days. <br />2. CALL BACK <br />A. The City retains the right to call back employees before <br />or after their scheduled work day or work week. <br />B. Employees called back shall receive a minimum of two (2) <br />hours pay at the applicable overtime rate. <br />C. Employees called back shall be compensated at the <br />applicable overtime rate for the time worked over two <br />hours. <br />3. STANDBY <br />A. Employees required by the City to be on standby seven (7) <br />days shall receive four (4) hours compensation at the <br />straight time rate for each seven (7) days required to be <br />on standby. <br />B. All reporting to work and call backs, outside the regular <br />scheduled work week, shall be compensated as indicated <br />under Number 2 - CALL BACK. <br />Page 52 <br />
