CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Moratorium Ordinance on Country Drive. <br />(A) Purpose and Intent. The City of Little Canada has <br />adopted a Comprehensive Plan and zoning text, pursuant to M.S. <br />Sections 462.351 and following, and the Little Canada City <br />Council has directed the staff to study and analyze proposed uses <br />and existing zoning of the property described below for the <br />purpose of considering the relocation of Country Drive and for <br />the purpose of considering the amendment of the Comprehensive <br />Plan and zoning text relating to the following described <br />property. <br />(B) Pursuant to M.S. Section 462.355, Subd. 4, this interim <br />ordinance, for the purpose of protecting the planning process and <br />the health, safety and welfare of Little Canada citizens, hereby <br />prohibits the development, subdivision, or the issuance of <br />building permits relative to the following described property, <br />located along Country Drive within the City of Little Canada: <br />The property subject to the moratorium is located on <br />the west side of Country Drive, from the north line of <br />the St. Paul Water Works right -of -way to the south line <br />of the Burlington Railroad right -of -way. The property <br />is bounded on the west by Condit Street. The subject <br />property is all located in Section 6, Township 29, <br />Range 22, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />(C) This moratorium shall be in effect for a period of six <br />months from the date of passage and publication of this <br />ordinance. <br />PASSED by the City Council of Little Canada this day of <br />, 1988. <br />ATTEST: <br />Joseph G.
