MEMORANDUM
ENGINEERS • ARCHITECTS I PLANNERS
222 EAST LITTLE CANADA ROAD, 5T PAUL, MINNESOTA 55117 612 484 -0272
TO: MR. BLESENER AND MR. JOSEPH CHLEBECK
FROM: DARWIN LINDAHL
DATE: APRIL 4, 1988
SUBJECT: 88010
City of
Little Canada
During a previous meeting we where asked by the City to
investigate the cost vs. benefit for items 4, 5, 7, and 12 as
stated in your Memo dated September 17, 1987, revised February
10, 1988, our finds are as follows:
1. Council Chamber Divider: If considering the possibility of
dividing the Council Chambers into two separate meeting
rooms, the divider should provide a high level of acoustical
privacy. Therefore we would recommend using a folding leaf,
metal frame, acoustical, vinyl faced partition. Based on a
size of approximately 40 feet long x 12 feet high the cost
of this partition would be approximately $14,400.00 (400 SF
x $30.00 per SF = $14,400.00).
2. Council Chamber Size: If the Council Chamber is to
accommodate 250 people sitting at round card tables the size
of the Council Chamber would have to be approximately 3,750
SHORT ELLIOTT
HENDRICKSON INC.
Page 19
S7 PAUL,
MINNESOTA
CHIPPEWA FALLS,
WISCONSIN
