For each licens. i r a gasoline filling station, the sum of <br />Dollars 44- 5:°00') and -.ww�d 50/100 CS -2:SOt additional for each diump, more <br />than one, at such station. Such fee shall be paid on or before January <br />1st of each year. Licenses for less than one (1) year shall be pro -rated <br />on a monthly basis of 1/12 for each month or portion thereof. <br />801.050. OPERATION RESTRICTIONS. It shall be unlawful for any <br />person, firm or corporation to install, operate or maintain any curb pump <br />or other gasoline dispensing device on any public street, alley, or other <br />public property within the City. <br />801.060. INSPECTION. The Council may provide for inspection of all <br />such filling stations at various and reasonable times for the purpose of <br />ascertaining whether the provisions of all ordinances and laws pertaining <br />to precaution against damage from fire have been complied with in the <br />construction, operation and maintenance of said filling stations, and to <br />enforce the same. <br />801.070. R2VOCATION. Any license issued under and pursuant to the <br />provisions of this Chapter may be revoked by the Council at any time. <br />(Source: Ord. 34) <br />802. CIGARETTE SALES <br />802.010. LICENSE REQt7I.RED. It shall be unlawful for any person to <br />deal in or sell at retail any cigarettes without having first obtained a <br />license to do so as herein provided. <br />802.020. APPLICATION. Any person desiring a license to engage in <br />the business of dealing in or selling cigarettes shall first make <br />application therefor to the Council of the City by filing with the City <br />Clerk for presentation by him to the Council an application in writing, <br />which application shall set forth the name and place of residence of the <br />applicant and the exact location of the place at which the applicant <br />proposes to carry on said business. Said application shall be signed by <br />the applicant in person, and when received by the City Clerk shall be <br />placed on file; provided, however, that no such application shall be <br />received unless it is accompanied by the payment of a fee as provided for <br />herein. <br />802.030. DEPOSIT FEE. At the time of filing an application for a <br />license to engage in the business of selling cigarettes at retail, the <br />applicant shall deposit with the City Clerk the sum of Twelve Dollars <br />($12.00) and the Clerk shall thereupon deliver to the applicant a receipt <br />therefor containing a statement of the purpose for which the deposit was <br />made and a copy of said receipt shall be attached to and filed with the <br />application. <br />802.040. I'SP.ECTION. Any applicant shall permit the officers of <br />the City to inspect and examine the place of business described in the <br />application and any refusal on the part of the ap plicant to permit such <br />inspection will be sufficient ground for the Council to refuse the license <br />applied for. <br />Page 16 <br />
