c <br />I1INUTES <br />City Council <br />Nov. 28, 1984 <br />( St. Croix Mrs. Scalze asked when the bond for landscaping would be required. <br />Screenprinting The City Clerk replied that the bond would have to be presented at <br />(Cont.) the time the building permit is issued. <br />c <br />The applicants stated that they were agreeable to the recommendations <br />of the City Planner. <br />Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84 -11 -532 β€” CLOSING THE <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR ST. CROIX SCREENPRINTING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Forsberg, Nardini, Fahey, Ranson, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 11, Page 561. <br />The Planner pointed out that the Council would be approving the <br />proposal of St. Croix Screenprinting, but any future use or development <br />of the property would be subject to reβ€” review and approval by the <br />City. <br />Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84 -11 -533 β€” APPROVING THE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR ST. CROIX SCREEN β€” <br />PRINTING SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE <br />CITY PLANNER TO BE COMPLIED WITH PRIOR TO THE <br />ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Forsberg, Scalze, Hanson, Fahey, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 11, Page 562. <br />Text Mr. Hanson opened the public hearing on the proposed text amendment <br />Amendment eliminating salvage yards from the Code. Hanson pointed out that <br />Salvage the Planning Commission requested the Council's reasoning for <br />Yards eliminating this from the Code. <br />Agenda Mr. Forsberg pointed out that the Planner gave the Planning Commission <br />Item No. 6 the reasoning for this at their meeting, which is that the City does <br />not want any more salvage yards. <br />Mr. Fahey asked if R & S would be grandfathered in if salvage yards <br />are removed from the Code.
