MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />February 11, 1988 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 11th day of February, 1988 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Peter Costa called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. and <br />the following members were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Peter Costa, Chairman <br />Bill Davison <br />Gene DeLonais <br />Art Herkenhoff <br />Peggy Schweizer <br />Tom Perlinger <br />Sharon Timmons <br />ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary <br />'Minutes DeLonais recommended that the minutes of the January 14, 1988 meeting <br />be approved as submitted. <br />Motion seconded by Perlinger. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />DeLonais recommended that the minutes of the February 4, 1988 special <br />meeting be approved as submitted. <br />Motion seconded by Davison. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />FinaServe Tom Becker and Jerry McLaughlin, representing FinaServe, Inc., appeared <br />CUP before the Commission requesting approval of a conditional use permit <br />so that FinaServe can remove its existing structure and gas pumps and <br />build a new structure for gas, convenience store and car wash. New <br />underground gas tanks would be installed as well. FinaServe would also <br />change its existing driveway entrances, and McLaughlin explained the <br />new access proposal. <br />Davison asked if the car wash was a self - service car wash. <br />McLaughlin replied that the car wash would be a drive - through car wash. <br />Davison asked what the planned hours of operation are. <br />The Planner replied that under the ordinance FinaServe would be allowed <br />Page 1 <br />
