CHLEBECK, Clerk <br />515 Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, Minn. 55117 <br />484 -2177 <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />CITY OF L TTLE CANADA <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />TEXT AMENDMENT <br />MAYOR <br />Michael Fahey <br />COUNCIL <br />Beverly Scalze <br />Bill Blesener <br />Rick Collova <br />Jim LaValle <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota will hold a public hearing on April 27, 1988 at 7:30 p.m., or as <br />soon as parties may be heard, in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City to consider adoption of <br />proposed Ordinance No. 298: <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 912 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE, KNOWN AS <br />THE LITTLE CANADA ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING ACCESSORY RESIDENTIAL <br />APARTMENTS FOR CERTAIN BUSINESSES IN THE B -3, GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 <br />Section 912.040.G. of the Little Canada Zoning Ordinance is hereby <br />added to read as follows: <br />912.040.G. Accessory Residential Apartments provided that: <br />1. The residential portion of the building or structure is clearly <br />incidental and secondary to the primary and permitted use. <br />2. The residential area shall comprise between seven hundred (700) <br />and one thousand one hundred (1,100) gross square feet of the <br />primary building and must be completely segregated from the <br />principal use. One (1) interior door or hallway to connect the <br />two uses is permitted. <br />3. Both the business operation and the residential area shall have <br />separate, exclusive exterior entrances. <br />4. The residential area may be occupied or lived in only by the <br />building's business owner and his immediate family or by an <br />employee of the business oeperating in the building and his <br />immediate family. <br />5. The property in question shall provide off - street parking for <br />the business operation as outlined in Section 903.050 of this <br />ordinance and shall provide two (2) clearly segregated and <br />marked parking stalls for the exclusive use of the tenants of <br />the apartment. <br />Page 61 <br />
