MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 20, 2013 <br />AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $1,000 IN EARNEST MONEY <br />IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NO The City Administrator reported that the City Engineer has requested the <br />PARKING Council adopt a resolution designating no parking on Little Canada Road <br />ON as outlined in his report dated June 19, 2013. This action relates to the <br />LITTLE Little Canada Road Improvement from 135E to Edgerton Street. It was <br />CANADA noted that this is part of the requirements necessary to allow <br />ROAD reimbursement of eligible City State Aid costs on the project through the <br />City's State Aid Fund. The Administrator indicated that the designated no <br />parking areas already exists with some on- street parking in the area of St. <br />John's Church. He further indicated that St. John's has reviewed the no <br />parking plan and is agreeable to it. The Administrator indicated that this <br />action will be re- ratified at the June 26" regular Council meeting. 1t is <br />also hoped that the bids for the Little Canada Road Improvement will be <br />awarded at that meeting. <br />Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -6- 107 — ADOPTING A RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING NO PARKING ON LITTLE CANADA ROAD FROM <br />INTERSTATE I -35E TO EDGERTON STREET AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE CITY ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
