•
-3-
on Centerville Road. The City would also like to consider bike path construc-
tion along the north side of Little Canada Road from Centerville Road easterly
to the end of the proposed construction. The requested bike path extensions
are eligible for funding under the Ramsey County Bike Path Program and would
provide proper termini for the bike path proposed in the project.
As a minimum, this project will require agreements between Mn /DOT and the
City, Mn /DOT and Ramsey County, and the City and Ramsey County. It is very
likely that the City in turn may choose to assess a portion of its improvement
cost. The associated public hearing process required by the City and the
expenditure of CSAH and MSA gas tax funds may require considerable time.
Possibly a brief feasibility study quickly prepared at this time would sub-
stantially expedite this process.
Ienneth E.
