— i1NUTES <br />City Council <br />May 23, 1934 <br />Lee rezoning factor in the Council's consideration. <br />(Cont.) <br />Mr. Fahey pointed out that even if no one was opposed to the rezoning, <br />the Council does not have to grant it. <br />Mr. John Beecher, representing Mr. and Mrs. Zoch, pointed out that <br />the portion of the Zoch property going out into Site II is a canyon <br />with sever- erosion. <br />'Mr. Fckstrom commented that he feels the City should follow its <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />!!r. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84 -5 -226 – CLOSING THE PUBLIC <br />(HEARING ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF THE LARRY <br />LEE PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF OWASSO BLVD. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Nardini, Hanson, Forsberg, Scalze. <br />,,ayes (0) <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Rook No. 11, Page 241. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. SL -5 -227 – TARLING ACTION ON THE <br />LARRY LEE REZONING PROPOSAL FOR SITE 2 PENDING <br />RECEIPT Or THE PLANNING C0M.11SSION'5 RECOMuENDATIONS <br />AND INSTRUC,TING THE PLANNING COM :IISSIOI: TO INVITE <br />THE PROPERTY OWNERS TO THE SOUTH UP TO THE ST.PAUL <br />WATER WORKS PROPERTY, INCLUDING THE PESIDEN7c OF <br />•BURKE LANE SO TFIAT THE CITY CAN GET THE FULL <br />IMPRESSION OF TIIE NEIGHBORHOOD FEELINGS ON THIS <br />PROPOSAL <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes 0) Fahey, Scalze, Hanson, Forsberg, Nardini. <br />Naycs (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 11, Page 242. <br />Mr. Hanson pointed out that Mr. Lee has withdrawn his request for the <br />rezoning of the property he owns north of Lafore Road from R -1 to <br />Light Industrial. <br />21) <br />
