RAMSEY ACTION PROGRAMS, INC. <br />509 SIBLEY STREET, SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA 55101 • (612) 227-8954 <br />"An Affirmative Action /Equal Opportunity Employer." <br />June 13, 1984 <br />Little Canada City Office <br />515 East Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, Minnesota <br />55117 <br />Dear Madam or Sir, <br />We serve on an advisory council to Ramsey Action Programs, a county <br />Wide agency that addresses in a variety of ways, the concerns and is- <br />sues of low income people, and of community /neighborhood development. <br />We have been in existence for 20 years, and through the combined <br />efforts of our representavies we plan on continuing our efforts. <br />However, we need your assistance in providing the broad vision that <br />would enable us to be more effective. <br />Our Target Area Advisory Council is looking for a representavie from <br />your area that shares our concerns and efforts. We hold meetings the <br />first Thursday of every month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The meetings are <br />rotated between several different areas of northern St. Paul. En- <br />closed is a map you might find helpful. <br />On July 5 we will be holding a council meeting at the North -End Multi <br />Service Center, 1021 Marion St. We encourage you to come and look for- <br />ward to meeting with you. <br />Enclosed is an explanation of the TAAC, it's role and objectives, <br />it's past and current efforts, and the boundries it operates within. <br />If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please feel free <br />to call us at our numbers listed below. <br />Sincerely, <br />Marjorie A.
