b. In the case of a shopping center or where there <br />are two (2) or more business uses, window signage <br />shall be limited to not more than fifty (50) square <br />feet per business. <br />c. Window signs with areas in excess of that permitted <br />and provided for herein are prohibited subject to <br />the provisions of Section 903.110.C.4. relating <br />to temporary signs. <br />d. Nothwithstanding anything else contained in this <br />section to the contrary, in no event shall the total <br />area of all signage, including window signs, exceed <br />the maximum provided for in Section E.4. (a) and 5. (a). <br />903.110.E.5. b. Conditional Uses. In the case of a shopping center <br />or where there are two (2) or more business uses <br />located within one structure or on one property, a <br />conditional use permit shall be granted to the entire <br />complex in accordance with overall site plan indicating <br />the size, location and height of all signs presented <br />to the Planning Commission. A maximum of fifteen (15) <br />percent of the gross area of the building silhouette <br />shall apply to the principal building where the <br />aggregate allowable sign area is distributed among <br />the several businesses. In the case of applying this <br />conditional use permit to a complex, the complex may <br />have two (2) freestanding signs identifying the complex <br />which are in conformance with this Ordinance. <br />For purposes of determining the gross area of the <br />silhouette of the principal building, the silhouette <br />shall be defined as that area within an outline drawing <br />of the principal building as viewed from the front lot <br />line or from the related public street(s). <br />903.110.F.1. a. Payment Fees. The license fee and other charges set <br />forth in this Ordinance shall be collected by the City <br />before the issuance of any license and the City Clerk, <br />Building Official, or other persons duly authorized <br />to issue such license for which the payment of a fee <br />is required under the provisions of this Ordinance <br />may not issue a license until such fee has been paid. <br />b. Double Fees. If a person begins work of any kind for <br />which a license from the City is required, without <br />having secured the necessary license therefore, either <br />previous to or on the date of commencement of such work, <br />he shall, when subsequently securing such license, pay <br />double the fee provided for such license, or is subject <br />to the penalty provisions of this Ordinance. <br />e. Special License Fees. Special license fees shall be <br />assessed for all attention seeking devices as described <br />in C.4. of this subdivision.
