No. 369 -3362
Dear Jim:
On Monday afternoon, July 23, 1984, your subcontractor, Total Asphalt, placed
the majority of the 2" of 2341 bituminous wear on Spruce Street without any
inspection. In the future, make sure that you and your subcontractors notify
us when you will be working on our projects.
Due to the wet conditions on Spruce Street caused by the rain in the morning,
it was vital that an inspector was on the project to approve of the blacktop -
ping operations.
According to Page G.R. -5 of the specifications, the Contractor shall guarantee
and maintain the stability of his work and materials for a period of one year
from the date of final acceptance by the City of Little Canada. If the streets
on this project need to be patched and seal coated or replaced next sumer, it
will be your responsibility.
Sincerely,
ORR- SCHELEN - MAYERON
& ASSOCIATES, INC.
dIALCArl_
John P.
