Installation and separate electrical cir- <br />cuit to be furnished by others. Alarm device to be mounted and centered <br />over fire department connection, approximately 10' above the fire department <br />connection. <br />AUTOMATIC SPRINKLERS <br />Standard brass finish type sprinklers figured for all exposed construction <br />areas. <br />All sprinklers temperature rating to be 1650. High temperature sprinklers, <br />spare sprinklers, cabinets and wrenches as required. <br />BLIND SPACES <br />No sprinklers figured for the cold combustible attic area. <br />SPRINKLER SYSTEM DESIGN <br />The entire system shall be installed in accordance with the NFPA standards <br />for the occupancy. <br />A sidewall piping concept is proposed throughout the building. <br />PLANS <br />Complete working drawings, conforming to the requirements of the NFPA, will <br />be prepared before fabrication is started and submitted to the Insurance <br />Services Office and the City Engineer for their review. Upon completion, <br />the installation is subject to their final inspection and test. <br />ITEMS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS PROPOSAL <br />1) Painting of sprinkler piping and equipment. <br />2) Electrical service and connections to sprinkler equipment and alarms. <br />3) 4" Water service into the building at the valve assembly location. <br />4) Supervisory equipment for remote alarm transmission. <br />5) Remote valve control device. <br />6) Attic sprinkler protection. <br />PAYMENTS <br />1) First invoice payment is due in this office in the amount of $1,000.00 <br />on the 10th of the month following invoice. This invoice covers our <br />immediate direct costs of applicable permits, licenses, contractor bonds, <br />water meters, plan approvals, engineering, and special order devices. <br />2) Future invoices will be based on a percentage of materials on the job - <br />site and labor expended for that month with payment due by the 10th of <br />the following month.
