Approval Of The Minutes MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA February 9, 1984 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of February, 1984 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Chairman Pete Costa chaired the meeting and called it to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Pete Costa Gene DeLonais Thomas Ducharme Roy French Karolyn Kingsbury Art Herkenhoff Thomas Perlinger Jim Steele MEMBERS ABSENT: Sharon Timmons ALSO PRESENT: David Licht, Planner Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary There being no corrections, Mr. Costa declared that the minutes of the January Planning Commission meeting be approved as read. House Mr. Rich Collova appeared before the Commission requesting approval Relocation of a conditional use permit for the relocation of the house presently R. Collova located at 2608 McMenemy to a lot on Dernont. The Planner asked if a garage would be included on the site. Mr. Collova replied not at this time, but that he made provisions for a future garage. The Planner commented that he has not seen the plans for the site. Mr. Collova reported that he is complying with City Code. The Planner reported that his report on the matter summarizes City Code requirements. One of the major concerns is that the house fit in with the character of the neighborhood. The Planner commented that the Planning Commission does not review plans normally for single family homes, but in this case, the Commission must decide the acceptability contingent upon the applicant meeting Code and setbacks. If there is a violation of the setbacks, the request must come hack under a variance procedure. Mr. Collova replied that his proposal meets setback requirements. Page -1-
