Accessory apartment: <br />1) No exterior alterations or expansion of the principal single <br />family unit shall be permitted for the creation of the <br />apartment unit. <br />2) The apartment and principal use structure are in compliance <br />with the Minnesota State Building Code. <br />3) The apartment shalt have a separate entrance from the principal <br />single family unit. <br />4) The apartment shall have separate cooking facilities from the <br />principal single family unit. <br />5) Accessory apartments shall be limited in occupancy to not more <br />than two (2) persons. <br />6) In addition to meeting the off - street parking requirements of <br />Section 1302.050 of this Code, one (1) parking space shall be <br />provided for each tenant, but not less than one (1) space per <br />accessory apartment. <br />7) The provisions of Section 1301.050, Subd. 2.e. of this Code <br />are considered and satisfactorily met. <br />d. Residential planned unit development as regulated by Section 1301. <br />070 of this Code. <br />Subd. 5. Lot Requirements and Setbacks. The following minimum re- <br />quirements shall be observed in an "R -1" District subject to additional require- <br />ments, exceptions and modifications set forth in this Code. <br />a.
