UTES
y Council
March 14, 1984
Frattalone The Attorney stated that this could be made a part of the development
Lift contract that the City would participate in the cost of the lift
Station station to the extent of $3,70C payable upon completion of the job.
(Cont.) The Building Inspector or City Clerk should then determine the
connection charge for the other properties in the area.
The Clerk asked about the City's 80 -20% policy. Mr. Fahey stated
that the $3,700 represents 807., therefore, the amount should remain
$3,700.
Mr. Fahey pointed out that if the 8 -plex develops in the area,
this will represent a big part of the $3,700.
Mr. Forsberg stated that he was agreeable to everything, except the
way the $3,700 would be recouped. Forsberg felt that the City should
absorb the $3,700 out of the sewer budget, rather than an extra
connection charge.
Fahey pointed out that without the lift station there would be no
sewer for the area.
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 84 -3 -104 - INSTRUCTING THE
CITY ATTORNEY TO DRAFT THE APPROPRIATE DEVELOPMENT
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY AND MR. FRANK FRATTALONE
WHEREBY THE CITY WILL CONTRIBUTE $3,700 TOWARDS
THE COST OF THE INSTALLATION OF THE LIFT STATION
ON JESSICA COURT AND DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER
AND CITY CLERK TO DEVELOP A SATISFACTORY PLAN
FOR RECOUPING THIS MONEY FROM THE EFFECTED
PROPERTIES SOUTH OF COUNTY ROAD C WHO WILL BE
USING THE SEWER LINE WHICH THIS LIFT STATION
WILL BE SERVING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze.
Ayes (3) Fahey, Scalze, Nardini.
Nayes (2) Hanson, Forsberg.
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 11, Pages 113 and 114.
Frattalone Mrs. Nardini asked if Mr. Frattalone has obtained the filling permit
Excavating from the Watershed for his Lot B on Ryan Drive.
Non - Agenda Mr. Frattalone replied that he has a permit for one acre, and the
Item No. 1 other permit should be in to the City in a few days.
Mr. Frattalone reported that he is nearly completed with his pending
area on Lot B. Mrs. Nardini requested that the Engineer submit a
written report on this before Lot A is allowed to be filled.
Page -11-
