Cub
127 Water Street Lumberman's Exchange Bldg. Stillwater, Minnesota 66082
(612) 779-2000
March 23, 1984
Mr. Joe Chlebeck, Clerk
City of Little Canada
515 E. Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
Dear Joe:
We are in the process of concluding negotiations with a tenant who
will sublease the present Cub Foods building on Rice and Minnesota Streets.
The new tenants are headquartered out of state (Oklahoma) and have asked
me to secure city guidelines for use permits.
Specific questions which need to be resolved are:
1. Can the present building be used for warehouse /storage purposes?
2. Are there any restrictions regarding hours of usage for the parking
lot, specifically for the usage as an entertainment center /go -kart
track?
3. Are there any existing ordinances regarding noise levels, barri-
cading of property, and out door storage of portable barriers
(i.e., tires used to ring the go -kart track)?
4. Is there a time limit for leaving the building vacant while using
only the parking lot?
This tenant is eager to conclude a deal as part of a move into Minnesota,
and is offering a very attractive rental package to us. Please let me know
at your earliest convenience what the City's usage guidelines are.
Sincerely,
Tom Thueson
CUB FOODS
TT:dke
