MINUTES <br />Planning Commission <br />February 9, 1989 <br />Commission approved the R &S final plat. <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />Motion adopted. <br />Brink Applicant Sanford Brink was not present. <br />Subdivision <br />The Planner recommended that the subdivision plan be <br />approved with a condition that they provide the Commission <br />with Planning and Future Development of Property to the <br />south. <br />Upon motion by DeLonais, seconded by Herkenhoff, the <br />Commission tabled the matter because of insufficient <br />information. <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />Motion adopted. <br />Liebel Delonais questioned why it has been so long for the final <br />Final Plat plat. <br />Joe Chlebeck said it is because the man is doing it by <br />himself. <br />Upon motion by DeLonais, seconded by Davison, the <br />Commission approved the Liebel final plat. <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />Motion adopted. <br />Section 6 The Planner said that at the last meeting the issue was <br />PUD Matter misunderstanding of our standards. Mr. DeBace wrote a note <br />to the Council and Mayor showing their interpretation of Il <br />zoning. <br />DeLonais stated that the City is not going to force them to <br />build up to IP standards, but they can still build to 11 <br />standards. Possibly a better grade of metal. <br />The Planner said that maybe brick on the roadside. <br />Basically, by going to PUD, site plans all go through the <br />Council. Storage areas are controlled. If I1, they can go <br />ahead and build and it might be sub - standard by one year <br />from now. The recommendation is that the Commission pass <br />PUD zoning in Section 5 areas. The hope of PUD being that <br />as development property comes in they will be able to <br />evaluate it on a case by case basis. The intent of PUD is <br />for higher design quality. Nothing is approved without the <br />Council. The City, in allowing a metal building may <br />Page 3 <br />
