MINUTES
January 25, 1989
Page 2
3020 Trailer
Park
Terrace
Heights
It was the consensus of the Committee that the
evacuation plans would be most appropriate for
the North Star Trailer Park because:
1. It is in the flood plain, pipe line and
electrical transmission lines.
2. Due to the peat in the area it would be a
tremendous cost to build a building, and
this would raise the rent exorbitantly.
We also recommend that the Trailer Park
be divided into two areas, some residents
going to the Little Canada Fire Hall and some
going to the Ramsey County Garage which is
almost the same distance. The Park
management should arrange who is to go where.
3. It is recommended that the Parks form a
buddy system so that no one is left behind,
especially the handicapped.
The Committee is of the opinion that the basement
of the house is satisfactory and recommends that
another emergency hatch be installed in the
basement.
It was recommended that the handicapped in this
Park go to the Ramsey County Garage.
The Committee has no problem with the use of the
Capitol View School or the old Kellogg High
School.
Page 2
