BANK, P.E. <br />2185 Draper Avenue <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />(612) 631 -0271 <br />EDUCATION: <br />I am a 1941 graduate of Michigan State University with a BSEE Degree. <br />I have also accumulated approximately twenty credits toward a Master's <br />Degree in electrical engineering from the extension division of <br />Illinois Institute of Technology. <br />WORK EXPERIENCE: <br />From 1941 through 1956, I was employed in the Switchgear Department <br />of Allis Chalmers Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During this period, <br />I engaged in the application and product design and development of <br />electrical switchgear and controls. <br />Between 1960 and 1971, I was employed in the Control Division at <br />Electric Machinery Manufacturing Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. <br />During this period, I was responsible for the product design and <br />development of electrical controls and switchgear for motor and <br />generator applications. Prior to leaving this position, I was <br />Manager of the Control Division. <br />From 1971 to 1983, I was employed at Associated Consultants, <br />Incorporated, of Minneapolis, Minnesota. At this location, I <br />performed as Chief Electrical Engineer. We specialized in consulting <br />services for municipal electric utilities principally in Minnesota, <br />Iowa, and Wisconsin. The work involved preparing reports, plans, <br />and specifications for the procurement and installation of engine - <br />generator equipment and substations. <br />I have been granted six U.S. patents relating to switchgear, and <br />have authored /co- authored three technical articles relating to <br />switchgear and substation equipment. <br />PERSONAL: <br />I am a retired (April, 1983) professional engineer, licensed to <br />practice in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. <br />Since retiring, I have participated in the following civic activities: <br />1983 Member, Governor's Panel to Review Activities of the <br />Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. <br />1985 Member, Rice Creek Watershed District 509 Citizen's Task <br />Force Committe. <br />1986 Chairman, Roseville's Citizen Advisory Committee on <br />Residential Solid Waste Management. <br />1986 Member, Governor's Pipeline Safety Commission. <br />1986 Member, Rice Creek Watershed District Citizen's Advisory <br />Committee. <br />1987 Member, Metropolitan Council Waste Management Advisory Committee. <br />1987 Member, Minnesota Pipeline Safety Advisory Council. <br />I am married, have three grown children, and have been a homeowner <br />resident of Roseville since 1957. <br />PAGE -63- <br />
