9/te ?/cK
x4frc
ce-c_
June 15, 1988
Ms. Bev Scalze
City Hall
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, MN 55117
Dear Ms. Scalze:
HELP! We have written to Mayor Fahey, Joe Chlebeck and the
City Council pertaining to the City Dump at 2395 Edgerton
Street. As we stated in our previous letters, this resident
is collecting aluminum scrap in large amounts and storing
it in an open enclosure in his front yard until he sells it.
Also, there have been various old vehicles, such as cars,
trucks, boats, bicycles, etc., parked there for several years.
With all the publicity in St. Paul regarding 'filth','eye-
sores', 'rats' and the like, we certainly think our city of
Little Canada would be more responsive to our complaints
and at least look into them. There were many people in St.
Paul who had notified city officials regarding the messes,
but no one would accept the responsibility of doing anything
about it.
You seem to be very concerned about the environment. Maybe
you would take the initiative to do something about the con-
dition at Sunrise Court and Edgerton Street. Because of the
beach across the street, Edgertoh draws many visitors; this
surely wouldn't create a very positive impression of Little
Canada, seeing a front yard in this condition.,
Thank you,
Little Canada Residents
PAGE -73-
