Office of:
JOSEPH G. CHLEBECK, Clerk
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minn. 55117
484 -2177
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
January 6, 1989
North Star Estates
3570 Lexington Avenue North, Suite 321
St. Paul, MN 55126
To Whom It May Concern:
The Emergency Services Committee has reviewed your proposal
for emergency procedures and recommends the following
changes:
1. Emergency procedures should be used for natural
disasters and gas line breaks.
2. Item 4. Storm Shelter Locations - City Hall will
no longer be used as a storm shelter and the
Ramsey County Garage (3383 No. Rice Street) should
be added as a storm shelter location.
The Committee recommends that you get permission from the
property owners of some of the commercial buildings within
your area (possibly 100, 200, and 300 So. Owasso Blvd.) to
use their buildings as storm shelters. The Committee is of
the opinion that the distance from your Park to the Fire
Hall and to the Ramsey County Garage may be unreasonable.
If you cannot secure other emergency locations, it will be
necessary to construct shelters within your site. A . matter will be discussed at the Council meeting on
January 11, 1989. Please send a representative to attend
this meeting.
JGC:kpv
Enclosures
cc: John Vitale
Sincerely,
Joseph G.
