FEASIBILITY REPORT
IMPROVEMENT 88 -23
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA
RE_CEIVE \ \\\
JAN 5 »as \ ..
fI City of
G, Little Canada
LOCATION: Eli Road at Little Canada Elementary
School
NATURE OF IMPROVEMENT: Grading, storm sewer, concrete curb and
gutter, concrete sidewalk, bituminous
pavement of new driveways and parking
areas.
INITIATION: Petition
RIGHT OF WAY: Improvements are to be constructed on
School District property.
EASEMENTS:
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
1/
Oi 6?
It has not been determined at this writing
whether or not easements are required.
However, in view of the fact that the
School District is the sole petitioner and
also the sole beneficiary of the improvement;
it is assumed that if easements are required,
they will be granted by the School District
at no charge to the City.
This project is being undertaken by the
City of Little Canada in conjunction with
the construction of an addition to the
school in which the City is also participating.
Therefore, timing and coordination is
important.
The driveways and parking areas to be
constructed are adjacent to and parallel
with Eli Road. The storm sewer will flow
east under the driveway to the east edge
of the school property. and thence south to
Gervais Creek.
The project will eliminate a large washout
existing at the foot of the bank.
No work is planned for the parking area
west of the building. This area will remain
as is.
FEASIBILITY: This project is feasible.
PAGE •14-
