A special event to commemorate our past, embrace <br />the present and prepare a legacy for the future. A yearlong observance of the <br />things we love and the things we live for, in the places we call home. <br />Company's coming to Minnesota! Thousands of athletes, coaches, trainers and <br />spectators will visit our state during the summer of 1990, when we play host to <br />the U. S. Olympic Festival. All eyes will be on Minnesota as the nation's favorite <br />Olympic athletes will compete with up -and- coming stars in one of the largest <br />gatherings of amateur athletes in the world. <br />While everyone's in the mood to cheer, let's make sure they're cheering for <br />Minnesota too. That's what Celebrate Minnesota 1990 is all about. It's a chance <br />for us to turn the spotlight on the people and places that make Minnesota special. <br />It's a chance for us to shine. <br />LITTLE CANADA <br />Little Canada is one of the very special places in Minnesota! We are proud of <br />the rich history of the City and the heritage of families and events that have <br />shaped our City. We are also proud of the way that Little Canada is preparing <br />for the future with new parks, new neighborhoods and community improvements. <br />The City of Little Canada is pleased to participate in Celebrate Minnesota 1990. <br />We are anxious to tell the story of Little Canada and it's people. We are anxious <br />to show the recent improvements that have been made and those that are planned <br />for the future. 1990 will be a good year for Little Canada to celebrate! <br />PROJECT <br />The Celebrate Minnesota 1990 program in Little Canada will encompass both <br />events and community improvement projects. The highlight of the celebration <br />will be centered around the Canadian Days Celebration which will occur in early <br />August, 1990.
