INUTES <br />Planning Commission <br />March 9, 1989 <br />KVBM Mr. Peters commented that their proposal would bring in alot <br />Television of revenue for the City on a small amount of land. <br />Tower Mr. Costa stated that he would actually like to see the <br />(cont.) amount of revenue the City would receive, and he felt that <br />the Commission has very little information regarding the <br />proposal. <br />Mr. Herkenhoff indicated that he would rather not make a <br />recommendation to the Council rather than vote on the issue <br />tonight. Mr. Herkenhoff felt that he was not ready to vote. <br />Mr. Grittman felt that the Commission had received as much <br />information on the matter as they are going to get. <br />Mr. Davison felt that the tower could not be placed at any <br />of the other locations in Little Canada due to the location <br />of residential homes. Mr. Peters stated that the Council <br />felt the compost site was the most favored in the City. <br />Mr. Davison recommended that the conditional use permit for <br />the television tower be denied based on the proximity to a <br />high density residential area and based on insufficient data <br />on technical questions. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. DeLonais. <br />Motion carried 4 - 1. Herkenhoff abstained. <br />No one appeared in regards to the Brink Property Division. <br />Brink <br />Property <br />Division <br />Schweizer <br />Mr. Costa indicated that Mrs. Schweizer had to work and <br />therefore could not attend the meeting. <br />Centerville Mr. DeLonais asked Mr. Chlebeck if the Council has had <br />Road Park discussion on how much it will cost to maintain Centerville <br />Road Park. Mr. Chlebeck stated that the Park Commission has <br />submitted figures on this. <br />Page 12 <br />
