Office of:
JOSEPH G. CHLEBECK, Clerk
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minn. 55117
484 -2177
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
MEMORANDUM
TO: City Council
FROM: Kris VanSchoonhoven, Utility Billing Department
DATE: March 20, 1989
RE: Utility Billing Program
The purpose of this memorandum is to let you know that the
City is outgrowing its current utility billing program.
Our current program has the capability of only billing for
three items those being water, sewer, and service charge.
The City has to start billing for street lights on Windrow
Drive, but does not have the capability of doing so.
Additionally, we have 1,873 accounts. Our program will
only hold 2,000 accounts in one billing group. It is quite
inconvenient and confusing to create more than one billing
group.
Jean Podomonick and I are looking into different programs
through our current provider Banion Systems and through the
Water Products Company. We will keep you informed of our
findings.
kv
Page 19
Ami0
MAYOR
Michael Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scala°
Bill Blesener
Rick Collova
Jim LaVaile
