Meeting
Planning
Commission
June 8, 1989
Bob Leibel
Site Plan
Fleishhacker
Lot Split
Mr. Bob Leibel wanted approval as to where he could
build his house. He said that his brother owned the
empty house. The lot is 140 x 190 feet. The City
Council has approved the plat but not the house location.
He was told that, after the Planning Commission looked at
the new site plans that it now looks like it would work.
A MOTION WAS MADE TO APPROVE THE
RECOMMENDATION ON THE PRESENT SITE
PLAN.
Mr. Ardwin Fleischhacker requested a lot split. He
said that he thought that the alley should have been
vacated.
Photos were shown to the Park Commission that had been
taken that morning showing that there was a lot of
cleaning needed. Mr. Fleischhacker said that heed cleaned
up a lot. Someone asked where did all of the debris come
from
Mr. Fleishhacker said that part of the land had been
filled for the past fifteen years. He also said that
it was laid out for a street and they were going to use
that (pointing to a spot on the plat) to get back here.
(He pointed to another area.) He said that there was also
an alley 'designation, It is on the old plat, showing
of roads, just alleys.
The Council is concerned about the appearance of the
property. Mr. Grittman said that the site was not
cleaned up. He suggested security be posted for the
clean up as far as the subdivision is concerned.
Mr. Fleishhacker said that the excavator is coming out
and also the roofing contractor. He sill wants to keep
some storage room for himself. He has been there 29 years.
He also said that the renters had moved out and that it
is full of junk. Some of the 'stuff' he wanted to keep
for himself.
Mr. Grittman said that the engineer needs an estimate
of the cost and issue a bond.
One of the Commissioners asked what could they do so that
this wouldn't happen again. They were told that it would
be a new matter and one Commissioner said that once'.Art
cleans it up he will keep it clean.
MOVE FOR CITY APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION SUBJECT
THAT IS OUTLINED BY THE CITY PLANNER AND SOME
DEVELOPER AS WHAT IS REQUIRED AND THE TIME
FRAME TO GET IT DONE IN.
David Bendel seconded it.
