ADDENDUM NUMBER 1 <br />TO THE RECYCLING GRANT AGREEMENT <br />By and Between Ramsey County and Little Canada <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County and the City of Little Canada have entered into <br />a recycling grant agreement (hereinafter the "Agreement ") for the <br />period January 1, 1989 to December 31, 1989, and <br />WHEREAS, Little Canada has requested additional funds to pay for the <br />increased costs of their curbside recycling program, and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has a policy of providing 100% funding for <br />municipal curbside recycling programs, and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has determined that curbside recycling <br />contractors should no longer be required to bring glass and metals to <br />the Recycling Center at 775 Rice Street, NOW THEREFORE BE IT <br />RESOLVED, that Ramsey County and the City of Little Canada hereby <br />amend the Agreement by mutually agreeing that the additional costs as <br />shown in the attached Exhibit A be added to the budget shown in <br />Attachment A of the Agreement, and BE IT FURTHER <br />RESOLVED, that the mandatory delivery requirement as described in <br />Attachment B of the Agreement is suspended effective immediately, and <br />BE IT FURTHER <br />RESOLVED, that all other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain <br />unchanged. <br />RAMSEY COUNTY CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />By <br />Chair, Ramsey County Board <br />By <br />Mayor <br />Approved as to Form: Approved as to Form: <br />By By <br />Assistant County Attorney City Attorney <br />Insurance Approved: <br />By By <br />Risk Manager Director, Department of <br />Finance and Management Services <br />Funds are Available, <br />Code: <br />By <br />Budget and Accounting <br />Recommended for Approval: <br />By <br />Director, Public Health <br />By <br />Director, Public Works <br />Page 114 <br />
